Applications
An engineering solution for every soil and water challenge — designed, supplied and installed by us
Erosion control
We offer a full range of products to protect your project against erosion processes. Drawing on our experience in soil stability and retaining works, we minimise the effect of erosion and provide permanent protection.
From revegetation for surface control to cellular confinement structures, slope stability must always be verified so that controlling the erosion process becomes the definitive solution for the project.

Slope protection
Erosion processes put stable slopes at risk and have to be controlled. We apply geocells, permanent blankets and revegetation systems for the surface protection of cut and embankment slopes.
On the Alberdi access road and on the Itá–Pirayú link we protected road slopes by combining cellular confinement and hydroseeding.
Coastal and river defences
Protection of river and stream banks with concrete mattresses, geotubes and flexible revetment systems. Our defences follow the movement of the ground without losing structural integrity.
The Pilar riverbank defence on the Paraguay River and the Pozo Hondo wall defence on the Pilcomayo are regional benchmarks for this application.

Lining and waterproofing
Polyethylene geomembranes and bentonite geosynthetics (GCL) for reservoirs, treatment lagoons, channels and landfills. Barrier systems certified to the GRI-GM13 standards.
We supply and install with thermal fusion welding and quality control on site.
Soil and road reinforcement
High-tenacity geogrids and geocells for reinforced soil walls, embankments over soft soils, pavement base reinforcement and unpaved roads.
Cellular confinement makes it possible to build over soils of low bearing capacity, reducing granular material thickness by up to 50%.

Revegetation and hydroseeding
Mechanised application of seed, mulch and stabilisers to revegetate slopes and degraded surfaces. Vegetation cover is the most economical and sustainable protection against erosion.
We have our own hydroseeding equipment and high-performance wood fibre matrices.
Port protection
Scour protection at quays, berthing faces and port structures: HYDROTEX concrete mattresses filled underwater without interrupting operations, pile jackets to rehabilitate piles, and synthetic sheet piles immune to corrosion.
The same technology applied at ports such as Canaveral (U.S.) and Arica (Chile), available in Paraguay with our own installation crews.

Channel lining
Conveyance channels, storm drains and flood channels lined with concrete mattresses (impermeable or free-draining depending on the project), geocells filled with concrete, or the Sistema Raíz Ece reinforced turf system.
From the irrigation channel to the high-flow urban channel: maximum hydraulic efficiency, minimum scour and next to no maintenance.
Dust control
Fugitive dust suppression on road works, service roads, quarries, mining sites and energy parks with DustRX Hydro: 100% biodegradable, USDA Biobased certified, applied with a water truck or a hydroseeder.
It binds the surface fines and lasts far longer than watering — fewer truck passes, less fuel and PM2.5/PM10 compliance.

Retaining walls
Mechanically stabilised earth (MSE) walls with the Lock+Load, StrataWall, StrataBlock and StrataSlope systems: retaining structures for highways, bridge abutments, industrial platforms and developments on sloping ground.
Up to 20–30% cheaper than traditional rigid retaining structures, with design verified to FHWA/AASHTO and the option of a vegetated face.
Landfills
Barrier and drainage systems for landfill base and capping: geomembranes, bentonite geosynthetics (GCL), drainage geocomposites and protection geotextiles.
Also vertical expansion of cells with geogrid reinforcement and final closure with revegetation — the complete package for the modern landfill.

Load support and unpaved roads
Geocells and geogrids to build over soft soils: all-weather rural roads, mining haul roads, working platforms for cranes and drilling rigs, container yards and industrial floors.
Cellular confinement makes it possible to use material from the site and reduces the required granular thickness by up to 50%.
Drainage
StrataDrain drainage geocomposites for wall backs, pavement subdrainage, tunnels and landfill capping: the drain that rolls out like a blanket, with no gravel and no perforated pipe.
Complemented with filtration geotextiles and wrapping for conventional drains wherever the project calls for it.

Pavement rehabilitation and reinforcement
Keeping existing highways in service is one of the greatest challenges facing road authorities. Geosynthetic interlayers between the existing pavement and the overlay are the proven method for extending service life and lengthening maintenance intervals at a fraction of the cost of rebuilding.
- Reflective crack control in overlays over cracked slabs or asphalt courses
- Stress relief and moisture barrier beneath the new surface course
- Fibreglass geogrids (EN 15381) — self-adhesive versions available too
- Base reinforcement with biaxial geogrids and geocells: up to 50% more structural performance
- Synthetic fibres for concrete slabs and pavements
Highways, carriageway widenings, airport runways and urban corridors.
Dewatering systems
Dewatering geotubes for sludge, sediment and industrial waste: a proven, cost-effective solution that performs three functions in a single textile — confinement, containment and filtration. The solids are retained inside the tube and the water comes out clarified.
- Drastic reduction in the volume and weight of the material to be disposed of
- Successive fillings until the full capacity of the tube is used
- No civil works: the tube is laid out on a draining platform
- Final disposal or reuse of the dewatered material
Treatment plants, dredging, mining, industry, agro-industry and energy.
