Road infrastructure
Geogrids, geocells and hydroseeding to reinforce pavement bases, embankments over soft soil and road slopes — design to the applicable AASHTO standard and installation with our own crews on the road section.
On Route PY12 we designed and supplied 60,000 m² of biaxial geogrids to reinforce transitions at subbase level, to AASHTO R 50. On the Bioceanic Corridor we revegetated more than one million square metres of road shoulders across 11 sections, from Carmelo Peralta to Loma Plata.
Agribusiness
Stabilisation and dust control on farm roads, slope protection on irrigation channels, and access roads that connect production to the paved highway.
On the Export Corridor we hydroseeded the access roads that connect farm production to the highway, and at operations such as Kimex and Hortipar we protected slopes and channels alongside production.
Civil and real estate construction
Retaining walls and urban defences that turn a riverbank into public space, for developers and municipalities building on the water's edge.
The Pilar riverbank defence protects 15 km of waterfront on the Paraguay River with 172,000 m² of concrete mattresses — today a public space open to visitors, three hours from Asunción. At Puerto Indio we built a reinforced earth wall on red soil.
Sanitation and hydraulic works
Diversion channels, lining and protection of treatment structures — from moving the water to the plant that treats it.
At the San Lorenzo wastewater plant we built the stepped gabion wall that protects the treatment plant. The 14 km Pilar diversion channel also carries our protection.
Bridges and viaducts
Scour protection for piers and abutments, and reinforced soil walls for viaduct approaches and ramps.
At the bridge over the Gasory stream and at the Puerto Remanso bridge (Paraguayan Navy) we protected piers and abutments with concrete mattresses — 23,000 m² at the latter. On the ramp of the Héroes del Chaco viaduct we built the reinforced soil wall with precast panels, representing Strata India.
Ports and waterways
Scour protection at quays and berthing faces: mattresses filled underwater without interrupting operations, pile jackets to rehabilitate piles, and synthetic sheet piles immune to corrosion.
The same technology applied at ports such as Canaveral (U.S.) and Arica (Chile), available in Paraguay with our own installation crews.
