The problem
Almost vertical cut slopes: seed would not hold and the soil washed away with every rain. There was no proven recipe for that gradient.
The solution
Six trials over 15,000 m² until the mix was found: Flexterra hydraulic blanket with six forages from the Upper Paraná Atlantic Forest, adapted to the site.
The result
Fifty-eight thousand square metres of vertical slopes revegetated. The photos of root development under the blanket are from this project.
