The problem
The waterfront drainage channels needed a smooth, durable surface, and their earth slopes a cover that would stop erosion from day one.
The solution
US300 uniform-section mattress was used in the channels, smooth and with a low Manning coefficient; on the slopes, hydraulic blanket that protects the surface while the vegetation grows.
The result
The same project combined Ece's two technologies: concrete where water runs fast and reinforced vegetation where the slope allows it.
